It is autumn day in Septemberwhen 60 overseas degree students come to register in USST. A serial of activities, including health check transportation service, on-campus visa application service and a cultural visit to Luzhi ancient town are arranged for the freshmen. Students find it so interesting to fly sky lanterns with their wish written on the lantern surface.
More departments are involved during the receiving period. Teachers from the teaching affairs office, library and international student apartment give training to the students on how to choose classes, how to meet the requirement of graduation, and how to retrieve data from online library. Moreover, officers from the Exit-Entry Buro are invited to give a lecture about exit-entry policy and regulations.
