International Student Office (ISO) held a special lecture on Russian language and cultural salon for Chinese students at the American Cultural Exchange Center. The outstanding student representatives of grade 2015, Beka (Kyrgyzstan, College of Business) and Ami (Kyrgyzstan, College of Business), delivered a one-and-a-half-hour presentation to 25 Chinese students. The content involved culture, apparel, diet, language and other aspects, which has created a perfect platform for Chinese and international students to communicate and interact with each other.
In line with the ”Belt and Road” Initiative of China, this cultural salon focused on creating a common community for international students and Chinese students, and promoting communication between teachers and students as well. In the near future, more vivid culture courses will be introduced to help advance the high level development of international exchange on campus.
