Types of Visiting Students
USST enrolls general visiting students (also termed as "general scholar", for students at undergraduate level) and advanced visiting students (also termed as "advanced scholar", for students at master's or doctoral level).

Procedures of Application and Registration

Application fee should be paid to USST ( please refer to “Charges for International Students” and  "Bank Account Information")

Submit application form and materials to ISO. ISO will sumit Admission Notice upon approval obtained from relevant functions together with the approved Visa Application for Study in China (JW202 form). The process will usually take no more than 15 working days.

Register duly at the site indicated in the Admission Notice. Bring original passport at registration.

Invitation letter from relevant school of USST  (if any)

recommendation letter from the home university
Photocopy of valid passport
Proof of language ability (if courses are to be taught in Chinese medium), please provide HSK certificate (HSK 5 or above)

All charges and materials will not be refund or returned. Application fee of RMB400 per person should be paid to USST's accounting department at registration or at the start point of application （it depends).
