As lately from the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges of the Ministry of Education, the university is approved to be one of the training institutions of international students granted with Chinese Government Scholarship, which marks the university formally enrolled as "national team” member.
The Chinese Government Scholarship is sponsored by the Chinese government for international students. As one of the 140 plus training institutes for the said scholarship, the university will be able to receive students from all around the globe through government channels.
So far, the university has received more than 1,300 students, including degree-granting pursuant, visiting students and Chinese language students, from 61 countries on five continents, and the undertaking has come to the new stage. With the approval from the Ministry of Education to become the Chinese Government Scholarship training institution, the scale of international education and the international image of the university will be greatly promoted.
