1) Applicants pursuing Bachelor’s degree shall hold High School degree diploma or the equivalent and should be under the age of 25.
2) Applicants pursuing Master’s degree should hold Bachelor degree diploma or the equivalent and should not be over the age of 35;
3) Applicants pursuing Doctor’s degree should hold Master degree diploma or the equivalent and should not be over the age of 40;
4) General Visiting Students are required to have at least a high school diploma at the time of enrollment, with an age limit typically not exceeding 45 years.
5) Senior Visiting Students shall possess a master's degree or hold the academic title of associate professor or higher upon enrollment, with an age limit generally not exceeding 50 years.

4. If the applicants plan to apply for Shanghai Government Scholarship(SGS), the applicants can not apply for any other Chinese government scholarship at the same time or nominated by any types of CSC Scholarship(Type A, Type B);

To apply as an international student for undergraduate studies at our institution, applicants must not only meet other admission requirements but also possess a valid foreign passport or proof of nationality for a minimum of four years. Additionally, they must provide evidence of actual residence abroad for at least two years within the last four years, with a minimum of nine months of actual residence in a year counted as one year, based on entry and exit stamps.
Residents from the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong(HKSAR), Macau(MSAR), and China Taiwan Province who have immigrated and obtained foreign nationality are also required to fulfill the aforementioned criteria when applying as international students for undergraduate studies at our institution.
Moreover, the documentation submitted by foreign applicants must adhere to the detailed provisions outlined in the Nationality Law of the People's Republic of China.
The supporting materials required at the time of application include:
1) A photocopy of the naturalization certificate;
2) A photocopy of the proof of cancellation of the original Chinese household registration (if any);
3) A photocopy of the record demonstrating actual residence abroad in the last four years (from April 30, 2021, to April 30, 2025).
If the original documents are not in Chinese or English, notarized copies shall also be provided.
