Visa Application to Enter China 
The prospective student should apply for X or F visa by presenting the “Admission Notice” and “Visa Application for Study in China”to the Chinese Embassy.

International students who will be studying in China for more than 6 months are required to obtain a Student Visa, namely, “X” visa. The “X” Visa will only be valid for 30 days after the students’s arrival. The student mush apply for a Residence Permit within these 30 days in order to obtain a legal status in China.

Students who will be staying and studying in China for less than 6 months are required to apply for a Visiting Visa, also termed as “F” Visa. “F” Visa holders are not required to apply for a Residence Permit.

If a student enters the country with a different visa, he/she must promptly apply for a Residence Permit.

Procedure of Registration

n         The prospective student should register within the valid date as indicated in the “Admission Notice”

n         Fill in Registration Form for Fresh Student

n         Submit materials for inspection

1.        JW202 form (Visa Application for Study in China)

2.        10 photos 

3.        Originals of most advanced degree/diploma certificate, transcripts, letter of recommendation ( applicable to graduate students), study plan (compulsary for Doctoral degree persuant), and HSK certificate (if any,  except for Chinese course takers)

4.        Original Admission Notice, passport

5.        Insurance policy if any covering the study period in China

n         Charges (tuition, dormitory, textbook and insurance, etc.)

Charges can be paid by cash, Yinlian card and bank transfer. Payment via Yinlian card is highly recommended. Yinlian card can be applied in local banks. The original bank transfer document should be kept for reference. For detailed bank & expenxed information, please go to Tuition & Fees.

Other Preparations before study

n         Get in touch with supervisor or tutor and academic advisor of the department

n         Get Student ID No.

n         Apply for Student Card to your respective school

n         Apply for E-campus Card which is widely used on the campus (Dormitory No.12, 1:pm to 4:30pm each day)

 

Important Notice

Currently only RMB is accepted for payment
70% tuition will be refunded if the student withdraws within 2 weeks of the new semester
. No refund is available afterwards
